Depart Islamabad early morning and travel towards Chitral through the scenic mountains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The journey takes you through spectacular mountain landscapes, rivers and valleys. After reaching Chitral, check in at the hotel and relax.

After breakfast, drive towards Kalash Valley. Depending on accommodation availability and festival activities, the group will stay in Bumburet, Rumbur or another suitable location. Explore the surrounding village and enjoy your first experience of Kalash culture. In the evening, participate only in public festival activities permitted for visitors.

Today is dedicated to experiencing the Chaumos Festival. Witness traditional celebrations, music, dancing and community gatherings taking place in the valley. The public portion of the festival is particularly vibrant during the second week, when visitors can observe cultural activities at designated locations. This is also the main photography day, offering opportunities to capture traditional clothing, architecture, winter landscapes and cultural performances—with the community's permission.
