Tour Overview
The expedition starts in Islamabad and travels north toward Hunza and the remote Shimshal Valley. From Shimshal Village, the team treks through alpine pastures toward Shimshal Pass, where acclimatization and preparation for the summit take place. The summit attempt involves a substantial altitude gain and should only be undertaken when weather, route conditions and the climbers' physical condition are suitable. On clear days, the summit provides views toward the surrounding Karakoram and Pamir ranges.
