The Trango Towers rise dramatically above the Baltoro region of Pakistan's Karakoram, forming a collection of enormous granite spires that have become legendary among climbers and mountaineers. The Nameless Tower, approximately 6,239 metres, is one of the world's most spectacular big-wall climbing objectives, combining extreme vertical granite, technical climbing and high-altitude expedition conditions. Eco Adventure Tours offers a fully supported logistical expedition to Trango Base Camp for experienced climbers who intend to undertake the technical ascent independently or with their own climbing team. Our responsibility is to provide transportation, trekking, camping and expedition logistics up to Trango Base Camp and agreed return logistics. The technical climb of Nameless Tower is completely independent of Eco Adventure Tours. 30-DAY EXPEDITION STRUCTURE DAYS 1–3 ISLAMABAD & SKARDU Arrival in Islamabad, expedition briefing, equipment preparation and travel to Skardu. Depending on flight availability and weather conditions, travel between Islamabad and Skardu will be by domestic flight or an alternative road arrangement. Skardu provides an important preparation and logistics point before entering the remote Karakoram. DAYS 4–5 SKARDU TO ASKOLE Complete final expedition preparations in Skardu and travel by 4x4 vehicles through the Shigar and Braldu valleys toward Askole. Askole is one of the last permanent settlements before the remote Baltoro region. DAYS 6–10 TREK TO TRANGO BASE CAMP Begin the trekking approach toward the Trango Towers. The route passes through the spectacular Baltoro region, with dramatic views of the surrounding Karakoram peaks and glaciers. The expedition progresses through established camping areas before reaching the Trango Towers. The exact camping locations may vary according to weather, trail and glacier conditions. DAY 11 ARRIVAL AT TRANGO BASE CAMP Reach Trango Base Camp. This marks the highest point and primary destination of Eco Adventure Tours' logistical services. The climbing team can establish its independent climbing operation and prepare for the technical ascent. DAYS 12–26 CLIENT'S INDEPENDENT CLIMBING PERIOD These days are reserved for the client's technical climbing expedition. The client and their own climbing team may use this period for: • Acclimatization • Technical preparation • Route preparation • Equipment organization • Establishing higher camps where required • Technical climbing • Weather waiting periods • Summit attempts • Recovery days • Additional climbing attempts if conditions permit The climbing schedule remains entirely under the control of the client's own climbing team. The actual ascent may take fewer or more days depending on weather, route conditions, acclimatization, technical difficulties and the climbing team's strategy. IMPORTANT: Eco Adventure Tours does NOT provide technical climbing services. No Eco Adventure Tours employee, trekking guide, porter or representative will participate in the technical ascent above Trango Base Camp. DAYS 27–28 RETURN TREK TO ASKОLE After completion of the client's climbing period, dismantle the trekking/base camp operation as agreed and begin the return journey toward Askole. The exact route and camping locations may vary according to conditions. DAY 29 ASKOLE TO SKARDU Travel by 4x4 vehicle from Askole toward Skardu. Arrive in Skardu and transfer to the hotel. Overnight: Hotel, Skardu DAY 30 SKARDU TO ISLAMABAD / DEPARTURE Fly from Skardu to Islamabad, subject to weather and flight availability. Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for the onward international journey, depending on flight schedules. End of Expedition. IMPORTANT ITINERARY NOTE The 30-day duration is designed to provide a realistic expedition window rather than guaranteeing a summit. The technical ascent of Nameless Tower is highly dependent on weather, route conditions, acclimatization, technical difficulty and the client's own climbing team. If additional climbing days are required, the client may extend the expedition subject to availability and additional logistical costs. The itinerary may also be adjusted because of weather, flight cancellations, road conditions, glacier conditions, permits or other circumstances beyond the control of Eco Adventure Tours. IMPORTANT CLIMBING POLICY Eco Adventure Tours does NOT provide climbing guides for the ascent of Nameless Tower. No member of the Eco Adventure Tours team will participate in, lead, guide or accompany clients during the technical climb above Trango Base Camp. Eco Adventure Tours provides trekking and logistical services only up to Trango Base Camp and for the agreed return journey. Once the client begins the technical ascent above Base Camp, the climbing operation is completely independent of Eco Adventure Tours. No Eco Adventure Tours employee, guide, porter or representative will participate in the technical climb. Clients are solely responsible for their climbing decisions, route, equipment, technical team, weather assessment, summit attempt and safety during the ascent.
