Pakistan's biggest cultural festival, Lok Mela, is held every November at the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) in Islamabad.
For ten days, the grounds transform into a celebration of Pakistan's cultural diversity - with pavilions from all four provinces and regions, thousands of artisans demonstrating traditional crafts, folk musicians and dancers performing on stage, and food stalls serving cuisine from across the country.
