Desosai Brown Bear Tour

Day 1 – Islamabad → Skardu Arrival at Islamabad International Airport and transfer for the domestic flight to Skardu. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest and prepare for the Deosai excursion. Overnight: Skardu Day 2 – Skardu → Deosai National Park After breakfast, depart Skardu by 4x4 jeep and drive toward Deosai National Park. Enter Deosai through the Sadpara side and continue across the vast alpine plateau. Visit Sheosar Lake and continue toward Bara Pani. Begin wildlife observation along the route. Overnight: Deosai Camp Transport: 4x4 Jeep Day 3 – Deosai Brown Bear & Wildlife Safari Start early for wildlife observation. Explore selected areas of Deosai with an experienced local wildlife guide, looking for Himalayan brown bears, golden marmots, red foxes and birds. Spend the day photographing wildlife and the surrounding mountains and alpine meadows. Overnight: Deosai Camp Day 4 – Deosai Wildlife Photography Full day dedicated to wildlife observation and photography. Explore different areas of the plateau according to wildlife activity and local guide recommendations. Continue searching for brown bears and other Deosai wildlife. Return to camp in the evening. Overnight: Deosai Camp Day 5 – Deosai → Skardu After breakfast, begin the return journey across Deosai. Visit Sheosar Lake if conditions and timing permit, then continue toward Skardu via the Sadpara route. Overnight: Skardu Day 6 – Skardu Sightseeing Explore the major attractions around Skardu. Possible visits include: Kharpocho Fort Upper Kachura Lake Shangrila Resort Skardu town Local markets Overnight: Skardu Day 7 – Skardu → Islamabad Morning flight from Skardu to Islamabad, subject to weather and flight operations. Transfer to the hotel after arrival. Free evening in Islamabad. Overnight: Islamabad Day 8 – Islamabad / Departure Free morning depending on your departure schedule.
