Fairy Meadows Trek | 7-Day Nanga Parbat Trek Pakistan

Driving: Approximately 6–8 hours Your Fairy Meadows Trek Pakistan begins in Islamabad. Meet the Eco Adventurers Tours team in the morning and depart Islamabad toward the mountains. Travel through Abbottabad and Mansehra before continuing toward Besham. The route follows the mountain valleys of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and gradually enters the spectacular terrain surrounding the Indus River. Enjoy scenic stops along the way before reaching Besham. After check-in, relax at the hotel and prepare for the journey deeper into northern Pakistan.

Driving: Approximately 7–9 hours After breakfast, continue north toward Chilas. The journey follows the Indus River through increasingly dramatic mountain scenery before joining the Karakoram Highway.Along the route, you will experience spectacular views of rugged valleys, river gorges and high mountain terrain. Continue toward Raikot Bridge, the gateway to Fairy Meadows.Depending on road conditions and arrival time, we either continue to Chilas for the night or position ourselves as close to Raikot as practical. The exact overnight location can be adjusted according to road conditions, traffic and seasonal access.

After breakfast, travel to Raikot Bridge and transfer to a local 4x4 jeep. The jeep journey to Tato Village is one of the most adventurous sections of the trip, following a narrow and rugged mountain track above the Raikot Valley.At Tato, the vehicle journey ends and the trek begins. Follow the forest trail toward Fairy Meadows, gradually gaining elevation through pine forest. After several hours of walking, the forest opens and Fairy Meadows appears ahead. Arrive at Fairy Meadows and check into your mountain cottage or campsite. Spend the afternoon relaxing and exploring the meadow. As the weather clears, enjoy your first spectacular views of Nanga Parbat.

Trekking: Approximately 3–5 hours Altitude: Approximately 3,300 m Wake early to experience sunrise over Nanga Parbat. Today is dedicated entirely to Fairy Meadows and its surrounding landscape. After breakfast, explore the meadow and nearby trails while enjoying different perspectives of Nanga Parbat. Your guide can take you to suitable viewpoints depending on weather, trail conditions and the group's fitness.

Trekking: Approximately 5–8 hours Altitude: Approximately 3,500–3,600 m depending on route Today is the main trekking day. After breakfast, begin the hike from Fairy Meadows toward Beyal Camp. The trail continues through alpine forest and increasingly open mountain terrain. As you progress, the views toward Nanga Parbat become more dramatic. Beyal Camp is one of the classic trekking points on the route toward the Nanga Parbat Base Camp area. Spend time around the designated viewpoint before beginning the return hike to Fairy Meadows. Depending on weather, trail conditions and group fitness, the guide may adjust the turnaround point. Important: This itinerary does not include a full Nanga Parbat Base Camp trek. The Base Camp route is a more demanding extension requiring additional days, elevation gain and trekking logistics. Return to Fairy Meadows by afternoon/evening.

Trek: Approximately 2–4 hours Jeep: Approximately 1–2 hours Driving: Approximately 1–2 hours Wake early for one final view of Nanga Parbat. After breakfast, begin the descent from Fairy Meadows toward Tato Village. The trail descends through the forest and returns to the jeep point. Board the local 4x4 and descend the mountain road toward Raikot Bridge. Rejoin the Karakoram Highway and continue toward Chilas. After arrival, check into the hotel and relax after the trekking portion of the adventure.

Driving: Full day Meals: Breakfast, Lunch After breakfast, begin the return journey to Islamabad. Travel south along the Karakoram Highway and continue through the mountain valleys toward Besham, Mansehra and Abbottabad. Enjoy the changing landscape as the high mountains gradually give way to lower valleys. Continue toward Islamabad. Arrive in Islamabad in the evening. End of the 7-Day Fairy Meadows Trek.
