The experience combines high-altitude mountain scenery, aerial photography and a rare opportunity to witness the spectacular landscape surrounding Concordia in a short and comfortable Concordia 4,750m is one of world's most spectacular mountain amphitheatres - confluence of Baltoro Glacier (62km) and Godwin-Austen Glacier. Surrounded by: K2 8,611m (2nd highest in world), Broad Peak 8,051m, Gasherbrum I 8,080m, Gasherbrum II 8,035m, Chogolisa 7,665m, Masherbrum 7,821m, Trango Towers 6,000m granite towers. No trek - 8 days trek normally to reach Concordia via Askole-Baltoro. Heli safari does it in 1.5 hrs. Flight route: Skardu Airport (2,500m) → Skardu Valley → Shigar Valley → Baltoro Glacier snout → Paiju → Trango Towers → Urdukas → Concordia 4,750m (optional landing 10-15 mins) → K2 Base Camp aerial → back same route or via Hushe Valley → Skardu. Total flying 1.5-1.8 hrs.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival & Orientation || Islamabad → Skardu
Take a morning flight from Islamabad to Skardu, subject to weather and flight operations. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax. Later, enjoy a short orientation and prepare for the following day's helicopter adventure.
Scenic Exploration || Skardu → Concordia → Skardu
05:00 AM early wake, 06:00 transfer to Skardu Airport heli pad, final weather clearance from Army Aviation. 06:30-08:00 AM flight window - best light, calm wind. Board helicopter (4-5 pax + pilot). Fly 45 mins to Concordia: Over Baltoro Glacier, see Trango Towers 6,000m granite walls, Cathedral Peaks, Masherbrum 7,821m, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum, Chogolisa, K2 8,611m appears. Reach Concordia 4,750m. Option A Overfly: Circle over Concordia 10 mins, photo, continue to K2 Base Camp aerial view, return Skardu 45 mins. Total 1.5 hrs flying. Option B Landing: Land at Concordia 4,750m for 10-15 mins max. Oxygen provided, stay near helicopter, no walking far due to altitude -20C, risk AMS. Photos, then take off return Skardu. Total 1.8 hrs with ground time. Return Skardu by 09:00 AM, breakfast.
Guided Excursion
This day is RESERVED for heli operation if Day 2 cancelled due to weather/operational reasons. If Day 2 successful, explore Skardu: Satpara Lake, Upper Kachura & Shangrila Lakes, Shigar Cold Desert jeep safari, Manthal Buddha Rock 8th century.
Islamabad / Departure
Flight Skardu to Islamabad 45 mins (road backup if cancelled). Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for onward flight. End of Heli Safari to Concordia. Breakfast.
