K2 / Broad Peak
Tour Overview
This expedition is designed around a double-summit strategy, using the Broad Peak phase to build valuable high-altitude acclimatization before moving onto the much more technical K2. After reaching Broad Peak Base Camp, the team conducts several acclimatization rotations before attempting the 8,051m Broad Peak summit. Following recovery, the expedition moves toward K2 Base Camp, where climbers undertake further rotations on the K2 route before entering the summit window for the 8,611m K2 summit attempt. The expedition combines the remote wilderness of the Karakoram with some of the world's most demanding mountaineering terrain. From the legendary Baltoro Glacier and Concordia to the high camps of Broad Peak and K2, this is an expedition for climbers looking to undertake one of the ultimate challenges in high-altitude mountaineering. Note: Summit attempts are entirely dependent on weather, route conditions, acclimatization, team fitness and mountain safety. The itinerary therefore includes contingency days and flexible summit windows rather than guaranteeing specific summit dates.
