16-DAY ITINERARY DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN ISLAMABAD Arrival at Islamabad International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Meet the expedition team and complete the initial briefing. Overnight: Islamabad DAY 2 ISLAMABAD TO GILGIT / HUNZA Fly from Islamabad to Gilgit, subject to weather and flight availability. Continue by road toward Hunza. Arrive in Karimabad and check into the hotel. Overnight: Hunza DAY 3 HUNZA – ALTIT, BALTIT & ALIABAD Begin the Hunza climbing experience. Visit the historic Altit and Baltit areas and explore suitable local rock-climbing locations around central Hunza. Conduct an introductory or intermediate climbing session depending on the group's experience. Overnight: Hunza DAY 4 HUNZA ROCK CLIMBING DAY Full day of guided rock climbing around the Hunza Valley. Focus on: • Rock movement • Footwork • Belaying • Rope management • Climbing technique • Rappelling • Protection systems • Basic multi-pitch techniques for experienced climbers Routes will be selected according to ability, weather and rock conditions. Overnight: Hunza DAY 5 ALIABAD / KARIMABAD – ADVANCED CLIMBING & PREPARATION Continue climbing activities and technical preparation. Experienced climbers can undertake more demanding routes while beginners can continue with supervised introductory climbing. Afternoon equipment check and preparation for the Lady Finger approach. Overnight: Hunza DAY 6 HUNZA TO PASSU Travel toward Upper Hunza. Continue through the spectacular Karakoram landscape toward Passu. Explore the Passu region and its famous granite formations. Overnight: Passu DAY 7 PASSU ROCK CLIMBING & MOUNTAIN EXPLORATION Full day around Passu. Depending on conditions and the group's ability, undertake guided rock-climbing activities on suitable local terrain. The day also provides an opportunity for photography and mountain exploration around the Passu region. Overnight: Passu DAY 8 PASSU TO HUNZA – FINAL EXPEDITION PREPARATION Return toward Karimabad. Complete final preparation for the Lady Finger Base Camp expedition. Organize: • Trekking equipment • Camping equipment • Food supplies • Personal equipment • Climbing equipment • Expedition loads Overnight: Hunza DAY 9 HUNZA TO ULTAR MEADOWS Begin the approach toward Lady Finger. The trail starts near Baltit Fort and climbs steeply through the Ultar Valley. Continue toward Ultar Meadows at approximately 3,200–3,300 metres. The approach is steep in places and involves rocky and uneven terrain. Establish expedition camp. Overnight: Ultar Meadows DAY 10 ULTAR MEADOWS – ACCLIMATIZATION & EXPLORATION Spend the day acclimatizing around Ultar Meadows. Explore the surrounding mountain environment and allow the team to adjust to the increasing altitude. Conduct equipment checks and prepare for the next stage. Overnight: Ultar Meadows DAY 11 ULTAR MEADOWS TO LADY FINGER BASE CAMP Continue deeper into the Ultar mountain region. Trek through increasingly rugged alpine terrain toward Lady Finger Base Camp. Reach the base-camp area beneath the spectacular Lady Finger and surrounding peaks. Establish camp. Overnight: Lady Finger Base Camp DAYS 12–14 LADY FINGER BASE CAMP – ACCLIMATIZATION & EXPEDITION DAYS Spend three full days at Lady Finger Base Camp. These days provide time for: • Acclimatization • Mountain photography • Route observation • Glacier and mountain exploration • Rest and recovery • Expedition preparation • Technical climbing preparation for clients undertaking their own ascent The additional Base Camp days provide a more realistic expedition experience and allow flexibility for weather and mountain conditions. Eco Adventure Tours' supported service remains at the agreed Base Camp. DAY 15 LADY FINGER BASE CAMP TO HUNZA Pack the expedition camp and begin the descent toward Ultar Meadows. Continue down the trail toward Hunza. Transfer to Karimabad and check into the hotel. Overnight: Hunza DAY 16 HUNZA TO GILGIT / ISLAMABAD Travel from Hunza to Gilgit by road. Subject to weather and flight availability, fly from Gilgit to Islamabad. Transfer to Islamabad International Airport for onward travel, or overnight in Islamabad if required by the flight schedule.
