Begin your journey with a morning flight from Islamabad to Skardu, subject to weather and flight availability. The flight offers spectacular views of the Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges. Upon arrival at Skardu Airport, our Eco Adventurers Tours team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Skardu. After check-in and some rest, enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring the surroundings of Skardu town. Depending on arrival time, you may visit a local market and experience the atmosphere of Baltistan.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Skardu's famous lakes. First, visit Lower Kachura Lake, popularly known as Shangrila Lake. Enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery surrounding the turquoise lake and visit the Shangrila Resort area. Continue to Upper Kachura Lake, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by rugged mountains and pine-covered slopes. Spend time exploring the lake, enjoying the scenery and taking photographs. A boat ride can be arranged at Upper Kachura subject to local conditions and availability.

After breakfast, begin a cultural and scenic exploration of Skardu. Start with Skardu Fort, historically associated with the rulers of Baltistan. The fort sits above the town and provides impressive views across the Skardu Valley. Continue to Manthal Buddha Rock, an important historic Buddhist rock carving dating from the region's pre-Islamic period. In the afternoon, visit the spectacular Katpana Cold Desert, one of the most distinctive landscapes around Skardu. Walk across the sand dunes and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains.

After an early breakfast, depart for Deosai National Park by 4×4 vehicle. Deosai is one of the world's highest plateaus and is famous for its vast open landscapes, alpine environment and wildlife. The journey takes you through spectacular mountain scenery and high-altitude plains. Continue to Sheosar Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in Deosai. Enjoy time beside the lake, take photographs and explore the surrounding plateau. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including the Himalayan brown bear, marmots and a variety of mountain birds. Wildlife sightings are naturally dependent on season and conditions.

After breakfast, drive to Shigar Valley, one of the most historically and culturally significant valleys of Baltistan. Visit Shigar Fort, a beautifully preserved heritage property showcasing traditional Balti architecture and history. Explore the surrounding valley and enjoy views of the Karakoram landscape.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Skardu Airport for your flight to Islamabad, subject to weather and flight availability. Upon arrival in Islamabad, your Skardu Explorer tour concludes.
