Set in the beautiful Ushu Valley of upper Swat, the Kalam Summer Festival is a celebration of the valley's alpine beauty, held each July when the meadows are in full bloom.
Visitors enjoy guided nature walks along the Swat River, trout fishing, folk music evenings, and camping beneath the pines. Local crafts and food stalls line the main bazaar, and evenings feature performances by Pashto folk artists.
