The Around Nanga Parbat Mazeno Pass Trek is one of Pakistan's most challenging and spectacular high-altitude trekking adventures. The route makes a complete circuit around Nanga Parbat (8,126m), taking trekkers from the Rupal Valley across the remote Mazeno Pass at approximately 5,399m and into the Diamir side of the mountain. The trek combines alpine meadows, glaciers, rugged mountain passes and spectacular views of Nanga Parbat's enormous faces. The Mazeno Pass crossing is the centerpiece of the journey and involves steep, snow-covered and potentially crevassed terrain; fixed-rope sections may be required depending on conditions.
